Woman Injured in Head-on Crash

A woman was injured in the two-vehicle crash on Malibu Canyon Road at Civic Center Way in Malibu.

A woman was hurt Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in front of Pepperdine University in Malibu.

The crash, which was described as head-on, was reported about 7 p.m. on Thursday on Malibu Canyon Road at Civic Center Way, according to the Lost Hills/Malibu Sheriff’s Station.

L.A. County firefighters were working to free at least one of the motorists at 7:20 p.m. A woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of a neck injury, according to the sheriff's department.

Earlier in the evening, two people were injured in a crash at Pacific Coast Highway and Rambla Pacifico Street at 6:15 p.m., the sheriff's department reported.

Traffic was stalled for about an hour on southbound PCH.

People on PCH really just need to PAY ATTENTION. 3 wrecks on PCH in a 2 hour period???

What street was this accident on? Saying it was infront of Perperdine doesn't tell me what street it happened on. There are several sides to the university and several buildings that have fronts, sides, and backs facing all different directions. Thanks for your hard work Jessica.

I was on the phone when i felt the impact. I shot news for many years , this was bad But you need to come by pch and las flores cy rd. 60 mph in a 25 mph zone. People are just nuts

Very sad. I'm from New York, and the very thought of riding a bike on a HIGHWAY seems crazy to me. When they ride side by side even crazier. Too bad someone had to die and countless others will on that death road. Driving a car on it is dangerous enough.
