VIDEO: Firefighters Put Out Blaze at Magic Castle
Monday's fire, which appeared to have started in the attic, is extinguished in about an hour, official says.
Upate, 1:48 p.m.: About 120 firefighters helped extinguish the fire in about an hour, said LAFD spokesman Matt Spence. No injuries were reported. The cause of the blaze was under investigation.

A fire at the was reported at 12:35 p.m. Monday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

LAFD spokesman Matt Spence said the fire appeared to be coming from the attic of the building, in the 7000 block of Franklin Avenue in Hollywood.
Spence said there were about 100 firefighters on the scene as of 1:12 p.m.

Spence was not sure if anyone was in the building when the fire broke out. There were no reports of injuries as of 1:12 p.m., he said.
