Fire Reported at Cadillac Dealership

Firefighters responded to the dealership on Ventura Boulevard.

Firefighters extinguished a fire at the dealership around 3:30 p.m. Friday.

"Moderate smoke" was coming out of the one-story building, according to an alert from the Los Angeles Fire Department. The fire was mostly in the attic of the building, which is currently under construction. About 50 firefighters responded to the scene and the fire was out in 27 minutes.

No injuries were reported and the cost of the damage is not yet available. The cause of the fire is also under investigation.

Traffic is very heavy on Ventura Boulevard. Firefighters are working with the Los Angeles Department of Transportation to alleviate the jam.
