Fatal Accident at Magnolia and Fulton

The accident occurred about 1:35 Wednesday afternoon.

One person was killed and four others were taken to local hospitals after a four-car crash at West Magnolia Boulevard and Fulton
Avenue.

The accident occurred at 1:35 p.m. and the four others are in fair condition, saidthe Los Angeles Fire Department's Katherine Main.

Sherman Oaks Patch reader Todd Frangella said the accident looked bad, calling it a "nasty five-car accident... It did appear this was a fatal accident."

He said:

When I drove by I could tell it was fatal because the driver of what appeared to be a cream colored 4 door sedan's arm was just hanging outside the drivers door and the airbag, which did go off, was covered in blood. The fire department hadn't covered the car just yet, but walking around in no hurry. There was easily 10 people standing on the various corners watching and holding their hearts. There was a black sedan limo at a diagonal in the middle of all lanes on Fulton just north of the intersection, one black SUV, possibly a Nissan, positioned North/South (Front facing north.) just West of the intersection into the curb, another car into the lawn of the corner house.
