The following crimes are reported Jan. 22-28 in the Hollywood area.

Thirty crimes were reported Jan. 22-28 in the Hollywood area, according to the LAPD's Crime Mapping website, which aggregates daily crime reports directly from the police department.

  • 6:15 a.m. Jan. 26, 6600 block of Hollywood Boulevard.
  • 10 p.m. Jan. 23, 6700 block of Santa Monica Boulevard.

Assaults (4):

  • 8:10 p.m. Jan. 27, Hawthorne Boulevard.
  • 2:30 a.m. Jan. 27, 6300 block of Yucca Street.
  • 9:45 p.m. Jan. 26, Cahuenga and Selma.
  • 9 a.m. Jan. 24, 1300 block of North Las Palmas Avenue.

Not very thorough, there are a lot of incidents reported by local police and scanners that aren't reflected in these weekly reports.
