UPDATE: 22-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Crash is Identified
The name of the biker was released in the crash on Tuesday.
A 22-year-old motorcyclist who was killed in a crash on the transition road from the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway to the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway near downtown Los Angeles was identified Wednesda by the coroner's office as Waleed Hawary of Sherman Oaks.
Hawary lost control of his motorcycle around 11:20 a.m. Tuesday as he tried to transition between the two freeways, according to the CHP. He was ejected from the Honda CBR and struck a sign, according to the CHP.
Hawary was taken to County-USC Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
