Michael Voltaggio Impresses at Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center

Hundreds of guests came out to Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center in Studio City this past Saturday as celebrity chef Michael Voltaggio showed off his culinary expertise.

Named one of Food & Wine magazine’s “Best New Chefs,” Voltaggio wowed guests during the Universal Discoveries event as he demoed his Branzino dish, currently on the menu at his LA restaurant, ink.! Following, fans lined up for a picture with the Top Chef winner, and a signed copy of his latest book, VOLT ink.

Fresh fruit cocktail with liquor-infused whipped cream, beef tenderloin crostini, shrimp casino, and quinoa and vegetable stuffed mushrooms were just a few of the delectable delights in store, as well as antioxidant-rich super-fruit drinks, palate-pleasing wine, and premium dark-age rum. Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center (www.uakc.com), a one-stop luxury appliance and plumbing showroom, also hosted several raffles, giveaways, and special pricing and financing for those in attendance.
