Subterfuge vs Honoring Benghazi Murdered Veterans

The heated discussions of the failed enrollment process of the Patient Protection/Affordable Care Act are without a doubt a subterfuge.  Consider these issues which are not being addressed as everyone mocks the US Government system for enrollment:

  1. In one single piece of legislation an entire industry received a bailout, without the disclosures and promises of repayment the prior industries had to agree before receiving funds.  Did you know in California premiums are higher if one enrolls via the exchange versus traditional methods, thus allowing the Insurance Industry huge tax benefits and subsidies?
  2. Extensive legislation within the PP-ACA gave new far reaching powers to the IRS.  Suddenly your income became a condition for health care. Suddenly your income tax account (or accuracy or balance)  became a facet of health care.
  3. The failure of staid representatives from the two parties to stand up to this folly was exampled when the conservative arm of the GOP (or supporters of Liberty as they should be called) took a hit for pointing out the flaws in the PP/ACA from the point of hurried signing to  how-can-this-be-funded.  Alas, it was all for naught.  The entrenched incumbents went about their business, voted the budget through, and no one was wiser.
  4. A calculating Secretary of State resigned, was asked to step down, quit, or shall we just say bailed-out in light of what?  She was tired?   Family matters?   In actuality no valid reason was given.   But in light of this quote:  “Clinton told the AP that the attack in Benghazi was the low point of her time as America's top diplomat. But she suggested that the furor over the assault would not affect whether she runs for president in 2016.” one has to wonder if it was to help push the topic under the carpet until 2016 elections.

 So today we recognized the 94th Veterans day, since it was first proclaimed as Armistice Day in 1919.    President Woodrow Wilson said

 “To us in America, the reflections of Armistice Day will be filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country's service and with gratitude for the victory, both because of the thing from which it has freed us and because of the opportunity it has given America to show her sympathy with peace and justice in the councils of the nations.”

 And so the families of four Americans slaughtered; under the Administration of President Obama and under the responsibility of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, have another holiday in which there are no answers for what happened in Benghazi.  

Consider this, in May 2013, as the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee prepared to hear testimony of the September 2012 attacks,   Press Secretary Jay Carney said in Let's be clear. Benghazi happened a long time ago,"  Fourteen months later still nothing has been done because it is now “a long time ago”?  This is the same person in the administration who claimed

"We have no information to suggest that it was a pre-planned attack. The unrest we've seen around the region has been in reaction to a video that Muslims, many Muslims find offensive,"

 Contrary to ever indication the group around the post in Benghazi was well-armed, and it was a well-coordinated attack, and not a spontaneous protest.  

So in light of the Benghazi massacre of Americans:

Reflect and remember what Abraham Lincoln said at Gettysburg in 1863

   -- that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.
