POLICE DOOR-TO-DOOR MANHUNT IN SHERMAN OAKS

We've been stuck in our house (which is not a terrible thing) for several hours now.  Helicopter overhead, SPEAKER FULL BLAST, giving one minute warnings to some suspect on the ground.
Not sure about what the crime could be.
Just now, a knock at our door...our 25-year old daughter answered; there stood a policeman, with gun drawn and a police dog on a leash, to let us know that they needed to check out our backyard.
An exciting birthday for me for sure!
After checking out our yard, the dog took a swim in our pool and all seems to be well as the helicopter noise fades away.
