Yawn, Another Special Election? Another Immigration Bill?

The September 17th election for the seat vacated by City Councilman Bob Blumenfiled  cost the voters $1.8MILLION DOLLARS.  The curious factor here is WHY.  Why didn’t voters reject Bob Blumenfield when he ran in November 2012 for the seat he had  no intention of keeping and again in March 2013.  It sent a message to anyone else using Special Elections to keep control of their district. Go for it – successfully!  They are manipulating public funds, public trust, the election process for personal gain.  And nothing can and should be done.  Why? The public, voters, electorate need to exercise diligence to stop these activities or they deserve the corruption. 

Special Elections are being used to usher in candidates who in a normal election process could not get elected.  How so?  Statistics.  The voter turnout in a special election is significantly lower.  The way to get elected is guarantee a percentage of people show up to vote for your candidate,  significantly mirroring the percentage estimated in total.  A precinct with 500 voters in a special election will typically have 15% voter turnout, even adding in the ever popular vote-by-mail.  75 people.  So to win an election all you need to do is systematically implore, plead, or stimulate 37 people to vote.

So September 17th has come and gone.  It has been a clean campaign considering how many people were running. Although out of the eleven only 4 had run previously and a different 4 had assisted candidates.  Lots of potential for anxious, driven candidates to push the ethics of good manners.  Sure enough it did happen, and in traditional fashion of the party bosses of the past: treacherous strategies drawn up in a smoke filled back room in Chicago – depicted in dark movies and occurring in real life.  A “scandal” was blown up by the Republicans.  They broke the 11th commandment royally.

The $1.8 million election had less than 10% voter turn out.   So apathy was successfully manipulated. 

Consider this.  Last week the media directed our attention to focus on two issues.  We were manipulated to react.  And local media talked and talked until we tuned them out.   Driver’s licenses  for those illegals.  Why not this   Why not that?  Spin spin spin...  And then transgender restrooms.  Fix the problem add another category – how much will that cost? – no let the children make their own choice.  No, that won’t work. Yes, it will. No, it can’t.  And spin spin spin on another emotional topic. 

BUT what other bill was passed? Assembly bill 1024,allowing people not legally here to get an education in the study of AMERICAN law AND then pass the bar.  Yes you read it correctly.  Persons illegally in America can now affect our laws, our justice system, the judicial process, and laws already on the books can be challenged.  Narrow minded people will run around and point at the largest population of immigrants, Mexicans, and say mean horrible things.  BUT no one will realize Assembly Bill 1024 as a law is not confined to address those brought to this country by their parents.  No the law unilaterally granted the ability to be tested and pass the State Bar…admission  to practice law.  So the WORLD can come here and change our Country from within and we will feed and clothe them while they do it.  Name one other Nation stupid enough to do that to their citizens and the future generations.

So November will come and go – the general election will have determined the winner of the seat for the 45th Assembly in California.  Democrat vs Republican.  Yawn.

And another 10% will decide which clique will rule over you and I.  All so  you and I can go back to our naïve life of voting for the next American Idle or Voice, as they become highly paid entertainers to keep us blissfully uninterested in the process of vanquishing our personal liberties.
