ARC Bell & Chime Choir Performs at Rotary Club of Studio City/Sherman Oaks' Holiday Luncheon

ARC ~ Activities Recreation & Care provided the entertainment at the Rotary Club of Studio City/Sherman Oaks' Holiday Luncheon on December 18, 2012 at the Sportsmens Lodge Hotel Vista Room. The choir performed holiday favorites, conducted by Carol Taylor.

Their Bell and Chime Choir is organized by Pat Elison, Choir Director and Jane Sarture, Music Director. Executive Director, Brett Bachmann oversees all programs.

ARC is a charitable, non-profit, tax deductible, California corporation, incorporated for the purpose of promoting the welfare, protection, education & advancement of individuals with developmental disabilities. It is designed to assess the ability and potential of each person, then develop and implement a regimen of activities calculated to help achieve his/her full potential for mental, emotional, physical and spiritual development.

ARC was originally Activities for Retarded Children (and Adults). The new name, Activities, Recreation, & Care was added in the last few years as most of the children originally involved are now adults.

The Rotary Club of Studio City/Sherman Oaks is a proud supporter of ARC and its wonderful programs. If you would like to schedule a Bell and Chime Choir performance, or for more information on ARC, please visit their website at http://www.arcandadults.org/
