Sepulveda Overpass Construction Set to Begin Friday
The outer edge and sound wall of the Sepulveda overpass is expected to be demolished on Friday night.

ATTENTION RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES OF THE SHERMAN OAKS AREA IN THE VICINITY OF THE SEPULVEDA BL OVERPASS
On Friday, September 14, 2012, the contractor is anticipated to demolish the outer edge and the sound wall on the overpass above Sepulveda Bl. Sepulveda Bl will be closed in both directions from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am between Sherman Oaks Av and Valley Vista Bl to support the demolition operation. This operation is necessary to support the widening of the overpass.

When: This operation is anticipated to occur on Friday, September 14, 2012, for one night between the hours of 10 pm to 6 am

What to expect:

Local access for residents will be maintained.

The Valley Vista on-ramp is anticipated to be closed from 7 pm to 6 am.
The three right hand lanes along the southbound I-405 freeway will be closed during
this operation, with lane closures beginning at 10:00 pm.
Pedestrians will be rerouted to a safe area outside the construction zone.
Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
