Youth graduates of the Los Angeles Police Department's Juvenile Impact Program sat on as their parents and supporters got a glimpse of what this military-style "boot camp" is all about, according to the Los Angeles Daily News

Video footage of the program was shown at a Saturday morning graduation ceremony at Van Nuys High School, in which troubled youths that participated in the program were acknowledged for completing the 12-week program, according to the Daily News. See the YouTube video, which is attached to this story.

The program is designed to alter the lives of troubled kids, ages 9-17, as the kids meet with ex-convicts, perform physical exercises, and spend time with counselors over the course of the entire program.
