Park Swimming Pool Open on Weekends
The public pool at Sherman Oaks-Van Nuys Park has facilities for lap swimming and children's recreation.
With summer here, you may feel the urge to jump into a swimming pool, but if you don't have one, the outdoor, Olympic-size swimming pool at Sherman Oaks-Van Nuys Park is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
For adults, lap swimming is available starting at 9 a.m. The pool is open for children at noon.
The pool is located at 14201 Huston St., and there's plenty of parking available.
