When it comes to great family-friendly restaurants, it's clear there are a wide variety of opinions, based on the large number of votes we received and the additional places that people added in the comments section.
The winner in our poll was Mels Drive In, twenty six percent of the people who voted in our poll named Mels as the best family friendly restaurant in Sherman Oaks. And it's no wonder, Mel's serves large, juicy burgers with tasty french fries and the atmosphere is comfortable and friendly.
Also, the juke boxes on each table offers hits from the past thirty years, and let's not forget all those signed celebrity pictures on the wall, some of them go back fifty years.
The number two finisher is Stanley's restaurant. This is a high quality bistro that caters to families and they also draw a large crowd of single people. The food and service are also excellent.
