Realtors say home mortgage rates are at historic lows, and likely to remain there for the rest of this year.
Each week we ask a local realtor to provide us with a list of open houses in Sherman Oaks for the coming weekend. This week there are more than 25 open houses and with mortgage rates now hovering slightly below 4 percent- for a fixed rate- realtors say," this is a great time to borrow money to purchase a home."
Home prices in Sherman Oaks have been declining for the past several years, although realtors tell us that "prices are beginning to stabilize, we've probably hit bottom says realtor Alan Taylor.
