Mendocino Farms Plans to Open at Complex on Ventura and Hazeltine

It will be a lot like the West Hollywood branch.

The Valley of the '80s bumps up to the Valley of the now: Mendocino Farms is opening in a mixed-use building at Ventura and Hazeltine, right next to a Taco Bell. The 3,000-square-foot sandwich purveyor will have a tree in the middle of the restaurant, like in the WeHo branch.

In addition to searching for sites in Santa Monica and Orange Country, the next order of business for local sandwich chainlet Mendocino Farms is a 3,000 square foot home in Sherman Oaks. Mendo is headed to the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and Hazeltine Ave, the demolished space reborn as a new mixed use complex next to Taco Bell. Mendo founder Mario Del Perodescribes the eatery as a family-friendly facility with room for kids to play and a large tree in the middle of the restaurant similar to the one found in Mendo West Hollywood.
