Facing Foreclosure? Help Available This Weekend

All weekend long the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation is trying to help people who are facing foreclosure.

People who are facing foreclosure might be able to get relief this weekend at the Shrine Auditorium. The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA) is helping some borrowers to negotiate a lower interest rate or better terms on home loans that have gone into foreclosure.

Help is not guaranteed here. Some people have claimed the NACA has not followed up on promises to get loans modified. But many others claim the process has been helpful in getting banks to modify home loans.

About 100 people have been camping outside the Shrine Auditorium, they're hoping to become the first to apply for a loan modification. The sessions will be open  Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
