John DeVries, owner of the chain of Subway stores, discovered the Crust brand of pizza while on a trip to Australia. He brought the designer pizza from Australia to the United States and began in Studio City.

"It's the best pizza in the world, the best you've ever tasted," he says.

From Bounce TV, Family Time is described as:

Family Time centers around the life and times of The Stallworths, a working class African American family who scratches off a lottery ticket and jumps to middle class overnight. They're an authentic picture of an African American family working to live the dream.  This family-next-door consists of two loving parents: Anthony ( Omar Gooding ) and Lisa ( Angell Conwell) Stallworth and their children Ebony ( Jayla Calhoun ) and Devin ( Bentley Kyle Evans, Jr. )  The Stallworths move to a middle class community in sunny southern California and both Anthony and Lisa bring baggage and other family members into their relationship that makes for great comedy – and occasional drama.

When we tried Crust pizza last week, we were so disappointed and questioned at a time when artisan pizza is abundant and all around - how could someone actually open a place with pizza on the same par as domino's? Now I get it.

I found Crust Pizza refreshingly different and l love the ambiance inside the restaurant as well. The staff is very friendly and very organized. Plus, I love that you can people watch through the storefront windows and spot someone from TV and film.
