Cheapest Gas in Sherman Oaks

Gas prices in Southern California have increased by 50 cents a gallon the past three weeks. The station with the lowest gas prices in Sherman Oaks continues to be the Shell Station at 4441 Van Nuys Blvd- corner of Moorpark.

"I just saved myself more than five bucks by filling up here," said Jesus Ruiz, pumping gas into his Thunderbird." That station three blocks away, next to the freeway offramp is charging more than 30 cents a gallon higher than this Shell Station," he added.

Generally, the highest priced gas in Sherman Oaks can be found at stations closest to Freeway on-ramps or off-ramps. Examples of this can be found at the  Union 76 stations located at Sherman Oaks Avenue and Ventura Boulevard, which is next to the 405 Freeway, and the 76 station at the corner of Riverside and Van Nuys Boulevards which is half a block north of the 101 freeway off-ramp.

The average price of regular gas at the low price Shell station was $3.88 per gallon during the past 7 days. Many stations will increase their prices on weekends and then roll them back slightly during the week.
