Two people were injured in a collision at Balboa Boulevard and Vanowen Street on Wednesday morning, and one person was trapped in an overturned vehicle, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The collision took place at 6800 Balboa Blvd. at about 10:21 a.m., according to LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey.
At 10:39 a.m., the LAFD reported that the entrapped person was rescued from the wreckage, but the area is blocked and could create commuter traffic problems through the lunch hour.
