Robo-suit aka Mitt Romney has spent some of his campaigning time recently telling his right wing fans (yeah he has picked up a couple) that he supports the theory of American exceptionalism and Barack Obama does not.
Obama, showing traces of backbone, fired back that he is the essence of American exceptionalism and who is to argue: abandoned by a black father, raised by a white mother and white grandparents, caught in a never world that ruins many boys, he survived to become president of our country.
The sorry preview of what is to become in the months ahead. But let's take a closer look at the claim "exceptionalism". In my lifetime, every American institution that I was taught to hold dear has come up gurgling like a cesspool.

Let's take a stroll down dis-allusion alley: the military (Vietnam), the church (too painful), the White House (government - p.u.), corporate America (they are not people), medicine ( Hypocretes choked to death), education (hide the kids), law enforcement (stop dealing dope, stop selling cell phones to cons and for god sake, pay the hookers), the media (we deserve better).
I could go on, but you get it, and don't get me started on the founding fathers. Take away the Adams family and we are looking at a room full of slave owners, whore masters and dietists (not Christians.) BUT WAIT! These human beings laid out a vision that all human beings strive for to this day and millions and millions of Americans live it every day.
