Hilary Duff Hums a Tune, Mackenzie Phillips Shoots the Moon; Kimberly Stewart Offers Spoon

Sherman Oaks longtime resident Mackenzie Phillips is having a rather traumatic time lately, but she's taking it all in stride. 

First, her friend Mindy McCready from Celebrity Rehab killed herself. "She was a princess. She was a beautiful, troubled, princess,” Phillips said. She was astounded by the death.

Then, this past week, her TV mom from One Day at a Time, Bonnie Franklin, died of cancer. Over Twitter, she and her "TV sister" Valerie Bertinelli (now of Hot in Cleveland, which tapes on the CBS Radford lot). She tweeted: "Remembering my friend. Rest in peace. Bonnie Franklin."

Mackenzie also tweeted out a beautiful photo of the Sherman Oaks moon (see the photo in the Gallery above) . . .

Hilary Duff was out in Sherman Oaks along Ventura Boulevard shopping with her son. When he seemed to be a bit restless, she gently hummed to him, even while photographers were following and snapping pictures.  Get used to it kid . . .

Kimberly Stewart and her daughter Delilah also took a walk through the Galleria recently. She got some nice clothes and seemed to be having a good time. When Delilah got restless, they snuggled and mom offered a cup of something that looked like yogurt or ice cream. Spooning, then spooning . . .
