What's Happening Sunday

Don't let the rain stop you from doing fun things in the neighborhood.

St. Patrick's Day weekend is full of great events ranging from karaoke, a CD release party, live music and entertainment, food trucks, pet adoptions, fitness classes, a shuffleboard tournament, and more. If you need something to do just take a look here and you'll find something fantastic and fun to do this weekend.

Sunday:

Laser Tag

Why Go: Try and stay out of the rain today by playing indoor laser tag - strategize to compete for high scores in this futuristic version of Capture the Flag.

Meet The Lorax!

Where/When: Universal CityWalk, 100 Universal City Plaza, 91608; 12 – 6 p.m.

Why Go: Take your family and get your picture taken with Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax. Afterwards do some shopping, eating, and even go see the film starring Zac Efron and Danny DeVito.  

Pricing: No entrance fee. Parking fees may apply.

 

Sunday Funday & Shuffleboard Tourney

Where/When: , 13625 Moorpark St., Sherman Oaks; 4 p.m.

Why Go: If you became a little too Irish yesterday (and are maybe feeling a little green today as a result), you can nurse your hangover with $5 Bloody Marys and order your favorite take out to help get back to normal. Then at 4 p.m. there’s a terrific shuffleboard tournament that costs only $5 to enter and the winner will receive a $50 bar tab.

Pricing: $5 to enter the shuffleboard tournament. Prices vary on beverages.

 

Babylon Social Club (R&B Soul Rock)

Where/When: , 14015 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks; 8:30 p.m.

Why Go: The Babylon Social Club performs various genres of music including R&B, Soul, and Rock.  Head on over to the popular Ventura Boulevard spot, grab a table, and enjoy your Sunday night with some live entertainment.
