Sepulveda Basin closed to traffic for five hours, it was reopened Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service is forecasting scattered showers and thunderstorms for Sherman Oaks on Saturday . Sun may break through during the day, the temperature is expected to reach a high of 46 degrees according to the NWS.
The Sepulveda Basin was closed to traffic at 2 a.m. Saturday because of flooding, but it was reopened five hours later.
The forecast for Saturday night calls for a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10 p.m., patchy frost forming overnight. Temperatures could fall to 35 degrees Saturday night.
