Rain in the Forecast for Tuesday

With construction going on in both Coldwater Canyon and the Sepulveda Pass, rainy weather could add another factor to slow down your commute over the hill.

Here is Tuesday's forecast for Sherman Oaks from the National Weather Service:

Tuesday: Showers, mainly before 11 a.m. High near 65 degrees. South-southeast wind between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Tuesday night: A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 49. South-southwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Wednesday: A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly before 11 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 68. Southeast wind 5 to 15 mph becoming west-northwest.
