Paula Abdul's House Alarm Brings Police

Police and private security personnel called to property owned by the 'X Factor' host find no sign of a crime.

The front door was wide open ... but no one was home. That's what Los Angeles police found when they investigated an alarm at a Sherman Oaks home owned by Paula Abdul. A police sergeant said that since the X Factor host wasn't there authorities couldn't determine if anything had been taken.
