High Heat to Continue Thursday
The National Weather Service forecast is predicting a high of 100 degrees for Sherman Oaks area on Thursday.
The forecast for Sherman Oaks on Thursday calls for another day of high temperatures. Residents are advised to monitor seniors and infants, as well as pets, to make sure they are safe from extreme heat.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 69. South southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming northeast.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 91. Southeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 61. East southeast wind around 5 mph.
Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 82. South southeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.
