The spirit of the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Parade lives on ! Twenty one years ago, this parade was but a small dream, today it is a dream come true. ~Valerie

Well, it certainly not advertised very well. Are you sure this isn't the Valley Village Parade

I am 100% certain. The parade begins right in front of our S.O. house we recently sold. Allan, I started this parade. :-) I wanted my kids to have a sense of pride on July 4th. Every year the parade grew larger. We used to advertise, but it began to get too large for us to handle. Keep this secret, but we never took out a permit. We used to make the TV news, but we really wanted to keep it small & local. The parade is the same age as our daughter. I miss our neighbors.
