Dine LA Starts This Week, Runs for Two Weeks

Great deals for lunch or dinner are offered for first the two weeks of October.

The biggest culinary event of the year, dineLA week, will run for two weeks. First week runs from Sunday October 2-7. Second week of these special deals will run from October 9-14.

The event is sponsored by the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau, American Express and foursquare, it offers discounted three course meals at hundreds of fine dining restaurants.

Three Sherman Oaks restaurants are participating in dineLA week, , and Mistral.

is offering a three course lunch for $16, which includes Soup du Jour or Lobster Bisque. The second course involves a choice between New York Steak or Ahi Tuna Nocoise salad, followed by a  desert which includes Flourless Chocolate Cake, Sorbet, and other selections.

Cafe Bizou is also offering a three course dinner priced at $26. This would include all of the cuisine available at lunch, plus several other choices.

Casa Vega offering a three couse lunch for $16, virtually all of the traditional Mexican dishes are available for this special price. Also several house specialities will be added to the menu.

Mistral, a highly rated French restaurant, will provide a lunch during the two weeks at a price of $22. The lunch will begin with a choice of soup or Frisee Salad, the second course will include a variety of selections including Mistral Signiture Pot Roast. A wide selection of deserts are available including Chocolate Souffle.

After spending a minimum of $21 per check, American Express members will receive a $5 credit on their card.
