VPH Cares presents a FREE workshop on Hypertension, Diabetes and Alzheimer's Disease

WHAT: VPH Cares presents a free, public health education workshop: Hypertension, Diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease. This workshop explores the role of hypertension and diabetes in the health of the brain. Expert educators explain how to care for someone with dementia.

WHEN: Thursday, August 7, 2014, from 10:00- 11:30 AM.

WHERE: Health Education Center at Valley Presbyterian Hospital, 15107 Vanowen Street, Van Nuys, CA 91405.

WHY: Valley Presbyterian Hospital’s mission is to improve the quality of health in the San Fernando Valley. Through the VPH Cares community development program, the hospital offers free health education workshops and seminars to the public. Workshops are designed to educate residents about major health issues facing the San Fernando Valley, and teach participants how to live healthy lifestyles, minimize chronic health conditions and improve their overall health.
