International High School Artists Are Coming

Selected high school artists will make Los Angeles their home this January.

We are a family run, North Hollywood-based cultural exchange agency that brings international students ages 15-18 to study in L.A. high schools for one or two semesters. The majority of our exchange students are artists (dancers, actors, singers, musicians, visual artists, writers, etc.) who train in the NoHo Arts District after school. Our goal is to give our students a memorable experience, and that ALWAYS starts with loving host families. We look for fun, open, communicative host families of all shapes and sizes who:

  • Live in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD)
  • Provide a separate, furnished bedroom, meals
  • Make the student feel like a member of the family
  • Include the student on family outings and activities

In order to provide an optimum Los Angeles experience for our students, families receive a $700 monthly stipend to cover the costs associated with hosting in a large city. *Our students come with full health coverage and their own spending money*

“Jana fit right in and became our German daughter immediately. We were first time host parents and L.A. Cultural Exchange was loving, kind and helpful to us and their students. This made the difference for us. Lisa, Lake Balboa

“We must thank Enzo for bringing such joy to our family. My sons are taking Italian lessons so when we visit our family (and their brother Enzo) in Puglia, they will speak our family’s language!”
Marco, Granada Hills

“We loved having Sofia join our family’s ‘band.’ We are so grateful you placed a musically gifted young lady in our musically inclined family. She helped my daughter like the piano again and we helped her improve her English...and make a mean grilled cheese. We’re heading to Brazil next December to see her!” – Maureen, Encino

We are a hands-on and personalized exchange program that is active in our students’ lives. Please see our Facebook and Instagram page for some of the fun activities we do with our students. In the end, it’s all about the experience, our student’s and host family’s.
