L A Councilman Mitch Englander -
"Fix Our Roads"
SOHA’s monthly meeting this Wednesday (Feb. 20) will feature L A Councilman Mitch Englander who represents the northwest San Fernando Valley. He will discuss what has to be done to improve the City road conditions and to fix needy neighborhood streets. He had proposed a $3 billion bond measure to improve our streets.
He will also explain actions being taken to control "group homes" that are causing problems in single family neighborhoods.
Representatives of other elected officials and LAPD will update the audience on what is happening in the neighborhood.
In addition there will be a Debate between Greg Smith and Noel Weiss candidates for L.A. City Attorney. Michael Feuer and Carmen Trutanich debated at SOHA’s November Meeting. The latest news on the massive Il Villagio project will also be presented -
Cafe Bizou will be the Restaurant of the Month and provide a sampling of their great food during the Social Hour starting at 6:15 pm. The Meeting starts at 7:15 pm at Notre Dame High School, 13645 Riverside Drive, Sherman Oaks. Parking in the lot on Woodman Ave. or Riverside Dr. and Huston Street.
