I was not describing Christians, I was describing religion and what a perversion it has become. TheRead More Christian religious right (what an oxymoron) advocates theocracy over the Constitution and the money grabbing mega-churches are just shameful. Religion in the US has become a disgusting ego driven business. It is ironic that statiscally Atheist know more about religion than any other group. The teaching of Jesus are commendable but very few follow them and certainly no one in Congress. The good news is that Pope Francis seems to be the real deal............so there is hope.

It should also be said that Jimmy Carter, undoubtedly our most religious President, was also theRead More strictest advocate for Separation of Church and State. And for understanding one of the greatest human principals he is worthy of our greatest respect.

Legality is the authority of civilRead More government, but Morality is the authority of Religion. This separation of church and state is a system of checks and balances. Government officials such as presidents and judges do not get their moral values from government but from their religions which have codified moral guides. Historically, government laws dealing with moral issues such as sexuality and the killing of humans have been based on the religious morals of the majority of the population; Christianity in the U.S. and Europe. When politicians in civil government overrule the moral authority of the religion of the majority of their nation's population, they have created a mixture of civil government and religion and they have made themselves the authorities of morality as well as legality. These politicians have become, in effect, a civil, priesthood in a Secular Religion, State. The U.S. Government is now dictating what is sexually moral by enforcing the LGBT agenda in the military, and promoting the killing of babies with the Obamacare abortion mandate. It has done this in opposition to the religious morals of the Majority and their democratic vote. In this way the U.S. government has become a tyrannical anti-Christian, totalitarian State/Church, just the opposite of a government with checks and balances and separation of Church and State. This is the End Times Anti-Christ prophesied in the Bible, and right on time. The Bible is, in deed, The Book of Truth.

I am proud of a man who at least will make the attempt to affect a change; for the man who complainsRead More it's a waste of time: not so much.

Good for you Karl! Our founders made it possible for citizens in this country to debate, run forRead More office, hold office if they are dedicated, sincere, and driven. You don't need a PHD to do a whole lot of good. Maybe you have one, but it is immaterial because you will be more than worthy if you win. The LAUSD could use a lot of improvement, starting with the food served the children and that has been publicized as wholly wasted and trashed. Did anyone ever taste the stuff? The press never asked that question. The teachers won't eat it, and neither will the kids as they would rather go hungry. I went to schools as did my children in N.Y. Denver, Chicago, and Miami. The kids looked forward to lunch time. The food was freshly cooked right there on the premises and they had choices ans they walked down the cafeteria line. This horrible stuff is prepared at a central factory and then is trucked to distant locations by freeway. Packing and transporting it takes enormous manpower, time, gasoline, truck maintenance and purchasing equipment and mechanics, and is gruesomely expensive. I can't help wondering who is making all of the dough, money that is, and how the contracts are awarded. Is there a bidding process? The press has not asked but we should know. Cafeterias would cost so much less. It is not fresh or well prepared. I have no proof, but I have long wondered if somebody is getting rich.

Suggest that you nix the surprise party. One was held for a close friend; she was clearly surprisedRead More but not in a good way. Later she told me that the person who made the guest list had included a few who were not her current friends and some good friends were not invited. She would have been prepared to dress nicely and would have enjoyed the anticipation.

You know who else lost his freedumbs? Frazier Glenn Cross Jr. That's who. When Holder's federalRead More thugs ordered by Obama found out about his white Christian crusade against the Jews just like Martin Luther (Father of Protestantism) would have wanted, he was arrested. Bam! Just like that he was persecuted for being white *and* being Christian. The most demonized class in America today. But his oppression started way earlier. As we all know, he ran in the Democratic primaries for being governor of one of them limited government states, and then as a Repu___ HE WAS A LIBRUL DEMOCRAT, OK? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frazier_Glenn_Miller,_Jr.#Electoral_history) Sheesh, people make it sound like he was a Rick Perry who was also a Democrat, and one can see why he became a Republican. Because the Democrats were filled with such Crosses. ___________________________________________________ But the damage was done much earlier. He was stripped of his name and his social security number (Paging Orly Taitz, found ONE more Obama social security number!) was changed. Forcibly by the gubmint under the orders of a kangaroo court. This is a true story. A true patriot who served this great land with two tours of Vietnam in a 20 year military career (we salute ALL our troops) and the thanks he gets is stripping of his identity? Thanks, Obama. I guess this is the CHANGE he was talking about. ___________________________________________________ http://www.mcclatchydc.com/2014/04/15/224567/kansas-shooting-suspect-had-been.html#emlnl=Morning_Newsletter

Patriot, I did not mean to offend you. Next time before dumbfounding yourself you should thinkRead More rationally and try to escape the bubble of misleading hate and half-truths that are the undercurrent of major media. If you are so patriotic/disillusioned that you think America is #1 at everything, always, then your opinion will be wisped away like momentary flatulence in any rational discussion. In the real world, people and countries make mistakes. If you are religious, remember that your book claims only God is perfect. As for my statement about both Russia and USA seemingly being the only countries with the capability desire to invade and occupy sovereign nations, I do not understand your outrage. If anything that situation is more understandable than our Iraq occupation, since Crimea largely identifies with their Russian heritage, hence why the country was being pulled apart when the western portion wanted to ally themselves more with the EU, while the eastern wanted closer Russian ties. This does not make it right, or legitimize what Russia is doing any more than our rationalizations legitimize our mistakes. Nothing about my statement was untrue, you just convinced yourself you are offended because you refuse to explore outside of the box you have barricaded your mind inside.

Jeffe', America actually does lead the world in just about every major category. With theRead More exception of Muslim Extremism (coming to a neighborhood near you soon) and Terror Training (coming to a state near you soon).
