Great Escape: Take a Sweet Adventure to the Los Angeles Chocolate Salon

Sample from chocolatiers, confectioners and other culinary artisans this Sunday.

If you’re a chocolate lover, there’s no better escape than surrounding yourself with chocolate. On Sunday, chocolate becomes a holy mecca of sweet goodness at the 5th Annual Los Angeles Luxury Chocolate Salon at the Pasadena Center. Meet chocolatiers, confectioners and other culinary artisans from around the world and sample to your heart’s content—it’s all included in the price of admission.

Indulge your taste buds in organic and raw chocolate to fine pralines, truffles, bon bons, bars (dark or milk) for a taste of the exotic with jasmine, lemon verbena or chile. Also, look for fountains of molten chocolate for dipping, mounds of chocolate cupcakes and fabulous chocolate sculptures.

Salon highlights include demonstrations, chef and author talks, wine tasting and ongoing interviews by TasteTV's Chocolate Television program. Speakers include Carole Bloom (author, Intensely Chocolate), Lucy Lean (author, Made in America), Ed Engoron (author, Choclatique, 150 Simply Elegant Desserts, master chocolatier at Choclatique), Art Pollard (celebrity and grand master chocolatier, Amano Artisan Chocolate), and A.K. Crump (CEO of TasteTV, author of Chocolate FRENCH, 4th Edition).

So sweet.
